Contracts Manager
Responsibilities:

Procure consultants and contractors for proposed contracts/projects |
| |
 |
Manage the consultant teams, in particular the cost consultants and in general, all consultants |
| |
 |
Provide contractual advice to the project team as and when required and in conjunction with the consultants, formulate contractual arrangement and contract packages for the projects |
| |
 |
Overall project cost and financial control; provide monthly cost and financial update to OED management |
| |
 |
Liaise with, coordinate, and provide information to NUS financial departments on all project financial related matters; such as cash flow and project financial forecast |
| |
 |
Monitor and ensure compliance with NUS procurements and financial guidelines in all aspects of the project matters, including those deliverables prepared by the consultants |
| |
 |
Process/ vet claims submitted by contractors, vendors, consultants, etc submitted for the projects |
| |
 |
Assist in the project management of projects when called upon |
| |
 |
Assist in the preparation of internal approval papers such as DPC and FC papers, internal reports as and when required |
| |
|
|
Requirements:
 |
Degree in Buildings, Quantity Surveyor, Construction Management or relevant from a reputable and locally recognized university |
 |
Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience, preferably in consultancy work or in a developer's office |
 |
A good working knowledge of NUS or public sector procurement and financial procedures would be an added advantage |
 |
Proficiency in Microsoft Offices and Excel |
 |
Resourceful, good communication skills and a team player |
