Contracts Manager

Responsibilities:

  •   Procure consultants and contractors for proposed contracts/projects
      Manage the consultant teams, in particular the cost consultants and in general, all consultants
      Provide contractual advice to the project team as and when required and in conjunction with the consultants, formulate contractual arrangement and contract packages for the projects
      Overall project cost and financial control; provide monthly cost and financial update to OED management
      Liaise with, coordinate, and provide information to NUS financial departments on all project financial related matters; such as cash flow and project financial forecast
      Monitor and ensure compliance with NUS procurements and financial guidelines in all aspects of the project matters, including those deliverables prepared by the consultants
      Process/ vet claims submitted by contractors, vendors, consultants, etc submitted for the projects
      Assist in the project management of projects when called upon
      Assist in the preparation of internal approval papers such as DPC and FC papers, internal reports as and when required
         

Requirements:

Degree in Buildings, Quantity Surveyor, Construction Management or relevant from a reputable and locally recognized university
Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience, preferably in consultancy work or in a developer's office
A good working knowledge of NUS or public sector procurement and financial procedures would be an added advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Offices and Excel
Resourceful, good communication skills and a team player
