Built Environment Task Force

The built environment task force is a subcommittee under the Sustainability Steering Committee (SSC), a university-wide committee that has been established to promote sustainability in the planning, development, and operation of NUS's campus environment and facilities.

The built environment task force is tasked to incorporate sustainability features and principles in the design, planning and construction of new infrastructure and buildings on campus.

The Objective of the task force is as follows:

 To certify 35 new / existing buildings on campus under the Green Mark framework by 2020
 To carry out projects with sustainability initiatives in the Built Environment to achieve a 20% reduction in energy savings / Energy Usage Index (EUI) by 2020
