1 Applicants seeking admission to Architecture, Industrial Design, Project & Facilities Management and Real Estate must satisfy a minimum GCE 'O' Level Elementary Mathematics requirement.

i) Applicants who do not fulfil the miminum GCE 'O' Level Elementary Mathematics requirement may still submit an application. They will be assessed based on their polytechnic results and other results/ certificates presented under the Discretionary Admissions (DA) section. The University may evaluate these applicants on a case-by-case basis. Shortlisted applicants may be required to attend an admissions interview under the discretion of the School of Design and Environment.

ii) Please note that all shortlisted candidates who apply for Architecture and Industrial Design will have to attend the faculty test and interview. More information on the test and interview can be found here.

2 Applicants with relevant Diplomas may be granted selective module exemptions, subject to faculty / school approval or based on performance in placement tests set by faculty/ school. They may refer to faculty / school websites for more information. Further information may also be obtained from NUS Bulletin.

3 Applicants seeking admission to the Business courses may refer to the Business School website at here

4 Candidates must fulfil the following Mathematics requirements in order to be considered for the respective Computing courses:

i)    Computing (Computer Science courses) includes Bachelor of Computing in either Computer Science or Computational Biology: At least a B4 grade in GCE 'O' level Additional Mathematics.

ii)   Computing (Information Systems courses) includes Bachelor of Computing in either Information Systems or Electronic Commerce: At least an A2 in GCE 'O' level Elementary Mathematics or at least a B4 grade in GCE 'O' level Additional Mathematics.

iii) Business Analytics: At least an A2 in GCE 'O' level Elementary Mathematics or at least a B4 grade in GCE 'O' level Additional Mathematics. Please visit here for more information on this programme.

Note that students who have fulfilled the Mathematics requirement listed in (i), (ii) or (iii) are required to sit for MA1301 Maths Proficiency Test upon Admission.

iv)  Applicants who do not fulfil the requirements listed in (i), (ii) and (iii) may still submit an application to be considered for the courses. They will be assessed based on their polytechnic results and other additional results/ certificates presented under the Discretionary Admissions (DA) section. The University may evaluate these applicants on a case-by-case basis. Shortlisted applicants may be required to attend an admissions interview under the discretion of the School of Computing.

5 Applicants applying for Law should possess excellent 'O' level results, a minimum grade of A2 in English Language at 'O' level and a Certificate of Merit (COM) from their polytechnic studies.

6 Applicants can opt for admission to a common engineering programme, and proceed after a year into a specific engineering course, subject to faculty approval.

7 Streaming of the Applied Chemistry track will only be carried out after Year 1.

8  Please note that only applicants who indicate Dentistry or Medicine as the first choice of course will be considered for admission. In addition to the application you submit to the Office of Admissions, you must also submit a separate application to the respective faculty under the Exceptional Individual Scheme (EIS) in order to be considered for these 2 courses. 9  Application for the Music course has to be filed directly to the Conservatory. Please refer to http://music.nus.edu.sg for more information.

10  Applicants seeking admission to these Engineering or Science courses would be required to attend an admissions interview conducted by the relevant faculty. Shortlisted candidates will be informed to attend such interview(s) for these courses
