Architecture/ Industrial Design course

Requirements

• Good ‘A’ Level results.

• H1/H2 ‘A’ level curriculum: H1 pass in Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics; OR pass in ‘O’ level Additional Mathematics

• ‘A’ level curriculum:
‘AO’ Level pass in Mathematics or a Science subject (except Biology, Botany, Geology or Zoology).

International applicants should have equivalent high school qualifications and overall good grades including good passes in Mathematics, Chemistry or Physics.

Polytechnic Diploma applicants should present an acceptable Diploma.

Dentistry

Dentistry admission

Shortlisted applicants are strongly encouraged to send to the Faculty of Dentistry 3 copies each of their CCA records, testimonials, reference letters or any other materials which they feel would be useful for the interviewers’ knowledge. These are to be sent to Ms Selene Tan, Faculty of Dentistry at least 3 working days before their scheduled interview. 4-year LLB Programme for undergraduates.

Requirements • Good ‘A’ Level results.

• B3 (for old syllabus) / B (for new syllabus) or better in General Paper (GP) or a good pass in Knowledge & Inquiry (KI) (for new syllabus) or minimum SAT I verbal/ critical reading score of 700 and a C6 in GP.

International applicants should have equivalent high school qualifications and a high level of proficiency of the English Language. Applicants presenting the TOEFL or IELTS should obtain a minimum 600 or 6.5 respectively

Applications will be open to all polytechnic diplomas w.e.f. AY2006-07.

Other information

An improved grade of B3 (for old syllabus) / B (for new syllabus) or better in GP or a good pass in KI (for new syllabus) from another sitting can qualify one for application to Law, but only the GP or KI grade obtained in the same sitting as the other 'A' Level content subjects can be used for computation of University Score (US).

3-Year Graduate LL.B. Programme (GLP)

Requirements • A good first degree from a good University, with 2 academic referees.

International applicants should submit proof of a high level of proficiency in the English Language if their first language or the medium of instruction in the University which they obtained their first degree is not English. Applicants presenting the TOEFL or IELTS should obtain a minimum 600 or 6.5 respectively.

Admission to Medicine

All candidates who are shortlisted for Medicine must submit a portfolio to the Dean’s Office of the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. The portfolio must contain two letters of recommendation, a personal statement (one page), and a resume or list of co-curricular activities (one page). This portfolio will be read by the interviewing team and evaluated by the Selection Committee.
