Appeal after the release of application outcome (26 May to 3 June 2010)
If you wish to appeal against the admission decision of NUS, you are to submit an online appeal from 26 May to 3 June 2010. You may submit multiple appeals but only the last appeal received by the closing date of the online appeal will be CONSIDERED. Please note that submission of online appeal for all categories of applications will close on 3 June 2010 at 2359 hours.
A maximum of 1000 characters are allowed for the reasons of your appeal. You are strongly advised to exercise personal planning when submitting the appeal as applying only to NUS is not a valid reason for appeals. The length of the written appeal does not enhance your chances, hence the ability to summarise and be concise is valued.
Mass emailing to multiple parties within NUS outside the appeal protocol will result only in slowing down the appeal process. The NUS Office of Admissions coordinates with the Faculties/Schools on appeal for admission. Please note that the outcome of appeal for all categories of applications will be released by end June / early July 2010.
Applicants, who appeal to us, may already have received one or more offers from the three universities. You should accept one of the courses that has been offered to you while you await the outcome of your appeal. If you do not accept any course that has been offered to you by the acceptance deadline, your place will be given to another applicant.
Please note that appeals to Architecture, Dentistry, Industrial Design, all Law-related courses, Medicine, Nursing and some of the double / concurrent degree programmes that require a selection interview, will not be considered, unless you have attended the required aptitude tests and interviews conducted earlier.
There are a total of 4 sections at the online appeal page:
• Sections (a), (c) & (d) are compulsory sections, while Section (b) is optional.

You can submit an online appeal via our Online Application Status Facility (OASF). At the OASF page, please login with your NRIC / FIN number and issued Admission PIN. After you have logged in, you will be presented with the main page, giving you the following options:
• Update Contact Information
• Update of Choices
• Application Status Enquiry
• Online Appeal
• Online Payment of Application Fee
Please click on Online Appeal to proceed. Details on appeal procedures will be posted around end April 2010.
