Application outcome

You will be informed of the outcome of your application in writing, by post, latest by early to end May 2010. Please note that you will only be offered one course of study from NUS if you are successful.

Together with your letter of offer, you will also receive an admissions package containing enrolment information and the application procedures for student accommodation.

If you have applied for courses which require you to sit for interviews/tests in your application, and that you have been selected for the interviews/tests, please note that you will only receive an outcome by end May 2010.

Online Acceptance

If your application is successful, you are required to accept the offer online via the common acceptance platform by the stipulated deadline given in the admissions package.

The online common acceptance platform is only applicable to the following category of applicants:
1)    Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'A' Level applicants (those whose Application No. starts with '10XXXXXX' or ‘30XXXXXX’), and
2)    Polytechnic applicants (those whose Application No. starts with '40XXXXXX’), and
3)    International Baccalaureate applicants (those whose Application No. starts with '600XXXXX’ or ‘609XXXXX’), and
4)    NUS High School applicants (those whose Application No. starts with '602XXXXX').

As the online acceptance platform is common across the three local universities, namely NUS, NTU and SMU, you may be offered a course of study in each of the three local universities if you have met the admission requirements and selection criteria of each university.  The online common acceptance platform will reflect the place(s) that have been offered to you, ie. for eg.  if you are offered a place each in NUS and NTU, the online acceptance platform will reflect the two courses.  However you are only allowed to accept one offer from one of the three universities if you have been offered by more than one university.

If you wish to alter your decision after submitting your online acceptance, please log in with your date of birth, NRIC number and application number to do so. You may submit multiple changes but only the last change received by the stipulated deadline will be CONSIDERED.  No late acceptance will be entertained after the stipulated deadline given in the admissions package.

After you have submitted the online acceptance, you will receive an acknowledgement, which serves as confirmation for your online decision.  No other confirmation letter will be given.  Please print a copy of the acknowledgement page for your reference.

More detailed instructions on the online acceptance will be provided in the admissions package which will reach you not later than end May 2010.  Please read the instructions carefully before accepting the offer online. For more information on application outcome, please refer to the above paragraph.
