Confirmation of Enrolment in Academic Year 2020 – 2021 for Returning National Servicemen (RNS)
Returning National Servicemen (RNS) with reserved places in NUS and are enrolling in AY2020-2021 should refer to the following information:
The confirmation of enrolment exercise will open from 25th November 2019, 1000 hrs to 9th December 2019, 2359 hrs.
You should read the following instructions before proceeding to confirm your enrolment status via our online facility.

Step 1 :
You will find your Application Number in the letter sent to you in October 2019. You will need to use the Application Number and PIN to log into the online reply facility at https://myaces.nus.edu.sg/uasonline2/rns/Login.do to complete the enrolment confirmation exercise. To enhance security of your personal data, you will be prompted to reset the PIN after login.
If you have forgotten your PIN, you must reset your PIN via our Online PIN Reset System.
Step 2 :
Verify personal particulars, course reserved and ORD information after successful login.
If there is any change to your personal particulars/ORD, you must update the new information on the online form before submitting your confirmation.
Step 3 :
Choose ONLY one of the four options given in the online form, which are as follows:
1. I am able to enrol into the above course in the University commencing in August 2020a
2. I would like to request for deferment of course to Academic Year 2021/2022b
3. I would like obtain a letter from NUS stating my reserved course so that I can apply for disruption to enrol in Academic Year 2020/2021 as my ORD is after 3rd August 2020c
4. I will not enrol in the course reserved for med
a You can only choose "Option 1" if your ORD is before/on 3rd August 2020. Refer to the RNS Acceptance Portal for your enrolment information.
If you are unable to enrol in the University commencing on 3rd August 2020 due to National Service commitments (ie RNSmen whose ORD is after 3rd August 2020) and you want to keep your reserved course, please choose either "Option 2" or "Option 3".
b If you have chosen “Option 2”, kindly complete the Deferment Request Form and submit to firstname.lastname@example.org by 31 January 2020. You will receive the outcome of your request for the deferment of studies via email within 10 working days upon receipt of your document.
c If you have chosen “Option 3”, the Office of Admissions will post the letter to you within 10 working days after the closing of the RNS online confirmation exercise.
dFor “Option 4”, no further action is required. Both the acknowledgement page and email will serve as the confirmation for your online decision.
Step 4 :
Check that the online form has been completed correctly and click on the ‘Submit’ button.Please note that downloaded confirmation form will not be accepted.
You may make changes on your enrolment option within the Confirmation of Enrolment Exercise. We will only consider the last submission as your final choice of enrolment option.
Request to change enrolment option will not be considered after the confirmation deadline.
You will receive an acknowledgement via the online portal after you have successfully submitted the confirmation of your enrolment. Print a copy of this acknowledgement for your reference.
If you do not receive any acknowledgement page/email after submitting your confirmation of enrolment form, your submission may be unsuccessful. Login to the Confirmation of Enrolment Portal to check your enrolment status.
