Systemics 1.0: Software for Research and Teaching Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL) [Updated Version]

Systemics is software for codnig and printing SFL analysis at the ranks of word, word group, clause, clause complex and discourse semantics. Systemics provides a comprehensive standard SFL grammar for coding the analysis. This pre-programmed grammar can be modified to suit the requirements of the user. There is a search facility whch is used to extract and tabulate the results of the analysis. Systemics is designed for undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and for academic research. CD includes installers, software and documentation for Linux, Macintosh OS 9 or earlier and Windows 95, 98, NT and 2000.

Kay O'HALLORAN is an Associate Professor at the Department of English Language and Literature, National University of Singapore. She is also Director of the Multimodal Analysis Lab, Interactive Digital Media Institute (IDMI), National University of Singapore.
Kevin JUDD is an Associate Professor at the School of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Western Australia.
