Documents of NUS Architecture includes talks and workshop proceedings, and international award-winning designs and research projects.

This issue of Folio, the fourth one, marks both continuity and a new start. Folio has showcased the student works of NUS Architecture for several years; this issue continues to do that, but it also aims to do more. It presents a richer picture of the new energies at NUS Architecture through a selection of guest lectures, keynote speeches of significant conferences held at the NUS, design workshops run by prominent architects, internationally award-winning designs, and the MArch level design and theorectical investigations. This issue aims to highlight the commitment to high standards of design and intellectual inquiry among the teachers and the students of NUS Architecture, and the excitement of a vibrant learning centre. Folio also hopes to focus attention on the nature of "architectural knowledge" as an enormously rich and multidimensional pursuit.
