Introduction 
The second college that was set up is the NUS College
in Bio Valley. Started in June 2002 and located in Philadelphia, NCBV is
designed for students to take advantage of the unique opportunities within
Central and Greater Philadelphia, especially in biotech and biomedical areas.
The region is also home to some of the nation's most prominent medical research
facilities including the University
of Pennsylvania where students take entrepreneurship related
and discipline based courses.
The pioneer group of 14 students departed for the NCBV
program in January 2003 and at a steady state, NCBV will be accepting a
total of 50 students per year.
