1. Regulatory mechanisms in innate and adaptive immune responses to microbial infection
2. Cancer and cancer Immunology
3. Obesity, inflammation and metabolic disease

1. Dual-specificity phosphatases (DUSPs) regulates Pattern recognition receptor (TLRs, RIG-I, STING, etc.) signaling in response to virus infection.
2. Mechanisms of DUSPs in cancer development, progression and response to therapy
3. Understand the link between inflammation and cancer
4. Regulatory roles of DUSPs in obesity and obesity-associated metabolic disorders including type 2 diabetes, hepatic steatosis and steatohepatitis
5. Targeting DUSPs to develop novel therapies for cancer and metabolic diseases
