1. Structural and dynamic mechanism underlying the conformational transition of the silk proteins.
2. Structural study and mimetic design for protein-protein interactions critical for neuronal development and regeneration.  For example, Nogo and other RTN proteins.
3. Structural study and mimetic design for protein-protein interactions critical for cancer development. For example, Eph receptors and their ligands ephrins.
4. Catalytic and regulatory mechanism as well as Inhibitor design targeting viral entry and replication.  For example, SARS 3CLike protease.
