Nomination of Research Supervisor

Students are given up to 4 months from their candidature start date to nominate a main supervisor.   Supervisor nomination is only formalized once the student submit the “Nomination of Supervisor Form” to NGS, and an official approval from NGS in the form of an email, copied to the student and supervisor has been given.

AGS students only  may select either a supervisor from NUS or the Research Institutes (RIs).  The Supervisor from the Research Institute needs to be an approved member of NGS.  Please refer to http://www.nus.edu.sg/ngs/ngs_supervisors_research_institutes_alphabetical.html for list of RI supervisors.

All other NGS students should select a main supervisor from NUS, and an approved member of NGS.   A supervisor from the Research Institute (RI) is only possible if he/she is jointly appointed by NUS and the RI  Please refer to http://www.nus.edu.sg/ngs/ngs_supervisors_alphabetical.html  for the list of NUS NGS supverisors.
