Social Visit Pass for Spouse or Child

Recipients of the NGS Scholarship may obtain sponsorship from the University for a social visit pass for their spouse or child (unmarried and below the age of 17) to stay in Singapore.

An application should be submitted only after a scholar has registered with the University and has obtained a student pass.

NOTE : 

  1. A S$20 administrative fee per application (non-refundable regardless of application outcome or if application is withdrawn after submission). Please download the Administrative Fee and Deposit Payment Form applicable for NGS students only.

  2. For a Research Scholar's spouse or child, the sponsorship will be up to the end of the scholarship, or submission of thesis for examination, whichever is earlier or if the Research Scholarship is terminated or withdrawn due to whatever reasons.  If the  student wishes to continue with the sponsorship, he/she will have to furnish a $5,000 deposit per spouse or child.

  3. Recipients of the NGS Scholarship are to submit their forms to NGS Office.  NGS Office will issue an endorsement letter. This letter with the forms, duly signed, should be collected from the NGS Office (CeLS, #05-01) after 4 working days from the date of receipt of application by the NGS Office.

  4. The scholar and his spouse will then proceed to the ICA at Lavender Street to submit the forms in person.
