NUS Graduate School for Integrative Sciences and Engineering (NGS) welcomes students from around the globe. Students are encouraged not only to integrate different areas of research, but to learn to integrate and interact with people from all backgrounds. Hosting students from over 15 different countries enables NGS to gather some of the best minds in the world, regardless of international borders. International students

International students may apply to NGS under the NGS Scholarship (NGSS). Once in Singapore, International Students can take full advantage of the NUS Office of Student Affairs’ International Student Services as well as join clubs, such as the NGS Scholars’ Alliance, to make new friends. At the new student Induction Day, international students are paired with a mentor who will assist in coursework and NGS matters, in addition to teaching the ropes about life in Singapore.

Immigration

All students who are not Singaporean Citizens or Permanent Residents (PR), will need to obtain a student visa to come study in Singapore. Those coming with their spouse/children will also need to obtain visas for each family member.
