FAQ NGSS - Referee Reports

1 : May I request that my referee send their reports via email to ngsbox4@nus.edu.sg, even before I complete my online application and also my supporting documents?

Yes, this is possible. But please follow-up with an email to NGS through ngsbox4@nus.edu.sg to inform us about it.
2 : Will my application be processed if only 1 of my referees has submitted the report / letter?

No. Your application will be put on hold until all documents are complete.
3 : Does my referees have to fill in the Online Application Form?


Your referees do not have to fil in the Online Application Form. In Section VI - Academic Reference of the Online Application form, you and NOT your referees are required to fill in the names of your referees.

Your referees may submit their referee reports and letters, as mentioned in question 1.

4 : Do I have to send my referees a copy of the "Referee Report Form" for their completion? Or could they submit only the Referee Letter?

Yes, you will have to send your referees the NGS's prescribed Referee Report for their completion. The form is mandatory and if they wish, they could supplement with a more detailed Referee Letter.
