FAQ NGSS - General

1 : How do I apply and when are the application deadline?

Only Online Application will be accepted.
2 :How long will it take for me to complete my application process?

You will take an average time of 45 mins to an hour to complete the Online Application Form.
3 : Does NGS offer a part-time graduate program?

No. NGS offers only full-time graduate research program.
4 : What does the application deadline mean? Do I have to complete the Online Application Form or do I have to submit all documents to NGS by that date?


The application deadline refers to the date where the full set of your application documents MUST reach NGS.

NOTE: On the application form, you are also required to click on the "Submit Application" button once you have filled in all the relevant details anytime before or by the application deadline.

5 : What is the difference in the process of application for 1st cycle and 2nd cycle, as indicated on the NGS website?

There is no difference in the process of application between the 2 cycles. The review and shortlisting process are the same. However, applications submitted by the 1st cycle of review, they will be processed, reviewed ahead of those submitted their applications by the 2nd cycle. In other words, applicants who submitted within the 1st cycle may be informed earlier of their application outcome, as compared to those who submitted within the 2nd cycle.
