NGSS is OPEN worldwide to all local and foreign students. 3 : Are there any admission interviews and / or tests?
Shortlisted applicants are usually required to attend one interview. The usual periods of interview for the Aug intake will be in Dec/Jan; Jan intake will be in Jun/Jul. 4 : Can I request for transfer to NGS if I am currently enrolled as a student in another Faculty / School?
No, this is not allowed. NGS does not accept transfers of students. 5 : I am planning to apply concurrently to NGS and other Faculties in NUS. Is it allowed? If my application is not shortlisted by NGS, will they be directed to the other Faculties / Schools for consideration?
You could apply for other scholarship programme(s) in NUS concurrently. Application to the different Faculties / Schools has to be done separately. Where deemed appropriate and at the discretion of the review panel's recommendation, NGS may direct some of the applications to other departments in NUS. 6 : How will the applicants be notified? Shortlisted applicants will be notified by email or phone. Rejected applicants will be notified via email. 7 : When will I know the outcome of my application?
Normally, the outcome should be known within 3 months from the closing date of the application. 8 : Is there any specific requirement on the CAP for overseas applicants?
As a general guideline, applicants should have obtained a minimum of 85% for all the modules that he/she has taken in his/her undergraduate course. |
