Spotlight on NGS’ PhD Programmes and Research

Outstanding graduating students, from the various branches of life, physical, computer, and engineering sciences, were introduced to the palette of exciting, cross-disciplinary PhD programmes and research fields under NGS’ umbrella. Furthermore, they received golden advice on how to embark on a fruitful PhD journey from speakers who hail from vastly different disciplines, and boast years of wisdom and experiences behind them.

These students then joined NGSS and AGS freshmen to network, over a sumptuous dinner, with established research scientists coming from an overarching spectrum of disciplines. Through sharing their research that continually challenges existing boundaries, these researchers successfully conveyed the limitless possibilities in the research arena, and that true innovation in research, indeed, knows no artificial boundaries.
