NGS Induction Day 2012

NGS is pleased to welcome 10 new faces to our student population. The new cohort comprises local graduates
from NUS and NTU, as well as graduates from Pakistan and China. A number of the freshmen landed on their feet running, and has already decided on their research specialization, ranging from graphene research to
projects under Solar Energy Research Institute.

Induction Day, on 6 Jan ‘12, saw the sharing of heartfelt exhortations and survival tips from NGS Directors and seniors, and these will undoubtedly serve them well if they take these insider insights on board throughout their PhD journey in NGS.
