NGS Induction Day 2010

Welcome students of the Aug 2010 intake!

NGS welcomes all newly-enrolled students of the AY2010/2011 Aug 10 intake through an Induction Day held on 29 July at 2pm.  Venue is at NGS Multipurpose Room located on level 1 at the Centre of Life Sciences (CeLS) Building.

Programme includes Welcome Addresses by NGS Executive Director, Prof Li and Deputy Executive Director Prof Fox, Meet-the-Buddy Session and presentations by NGS Supervisors.  There are also opportunities for the freshmen to get-to-know and mingle with the existing NGS students, supervisors and staff.  

The NGS Induction Day was a success.   Freshmen benefited from the various presentations by the NGS Supervisors and also from the current students who had shared about their experiences as graduate students.   

We hope that the students will assimilate well into the NGS Family and enjoy their postgraduate stint at NGS.
