Nancy Ip

Prof Nancy Y. Ip, a member of the NGS International Advisory Panel and Dean of Science and Director of State Key Laboratory of Molecular Neuroscience in Hong Kong University of Science & Technology, gave a seminar talk "From Understanding Neural Plasticity to Development of Cognitive Enhancers" during her visit in February 2011.  She presented her research group's findings on neuronal migration and network, and on a Traditional Chinese Medicine-based strategy towards drug discovery.

Professor Anthony Zee's seminar on "Writing about Theoretical Physics" was held on 1 Mar Tue at CeLS Seminar Room 2. Professor Zee's distinguished and expansive career - from being a physicist whose research spans multiple fields to his budding career as a writer - indisputably lend him the authority to share about how a scientist can still live a rich, colourful and inspired life to pursue broader personal interests, beyong excelling in science.
