At NUS Extension, we believe that learning never stops.

For over 40 years, NUS Extension has provided quality learning opportunities to more than 120,000 individuals. This year alone, we will have an enrolment of 8000 students. Many of our students have gone on to become more successful business leaders, career professionals and executives. Others have discovered new knowledge frontiers in our lifelong learning courses.

In the 1960s, we were known as the Extra-mural Studies Department of the Singapore University. Over the years, we have matured into a University Level Continuing Education Arm, with four platforms of learning.

CONTINUING EDUCATION
NUS Extension offers learning opportunities in enterprise leadership, entrepreneurship development, professional & management development; as well as personal development and enrichment to meet the changing trends of the Singapore economy. These courses are tailored to meet the increasing needs for knowledge updating and skill upgrading by our alumni and the Community at large. NEX leverages on the University's pool of talent and its network of leading industry practitioners to impart up-to-date knowledge and deliver the best method for thinking and learning skills. Courses conducted cover a wide range of subjects from Leadership, Entrepreneurship, IT & Computing, Human Resource, Finance, Languages, History to Arts.
 
PROFESSIONAL AND MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT
This area of development offers a wide range of courses and programs for professionals and business executives. The subjects include Life Sciences, Computing and IT, Engineering, Functional Management Subjects such as Strategic Planning, HRM, Financial Management, Sales and Marketing Management, Applied Psychology, Business Law, Technology and Innovation, Operations Management, Risk Management and International Business Development.

ENTERPRISE LEADERSHIP
This area of development offers selected courses and programs for top and senior management. The subjects include Leadership and Influence, Business Ethics, Strategic Management and China Business.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP
This new area of development offers selected workshops and programs to nurture entrepreneurs.

PERSONAL ENRICHMENT
This area of development offers courses and programs for all adults, young and old. We provide a wide range of high quality education in languages, literary arts, personal development, history, culture and other subjects.

NUS Extension provides mostly public courses and programs for open enrolment. However, organizations can make requests for training programs which meet their specific in-house needs. We can customize courses which meet your needs.

NUS Extension has an international network of marketing agents, providers and partners. We are currently training executives and students from China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, South Korea, Japan, Mongolia, India, EU countries and US.

CONDUCIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
We provide a very conducive environment in town at our City Location, opposite the Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station. This is very convenient for busy Singaporeans who have to juggle work and studies. Our Park Mall Location is a 20,000 square feet training facility with 20 seminar rooms with seating capacities ranging from 10 to 120 persons. There are 3 computer labs and wireless broadband availability.
