Synopsis
Over the past 10 years ERM has evolved from an innovative concept to a global best-practice standard for the Management of Risks in Organizations. Continuous crises in the global financial system and regular corporate collapses remind us of the importance of effective risk management. Not only industry regulators are demanding that listed companies raise their game in regards to the management of the risks they face, but rating agencies have also included the quality of a firm's risk management system & 'culture' into their corporate ratings methodologies. Beyond mere compliance to regulatory requirements, effective risk management has become an imperative for boards and management because it has the potential to increase the reliability of operations, build resilience, and foster innovation/value creation - three keys to achieving sustainable profitable performance. However implementing ERM is a very challenging undertaking and many organizations struggle through the process and fail to achieve any tangible benefits.
Hence the essential purpose of CERMTM program is to develop ERM Champions able to design and drive the implementation of ERM programs in the system and culture of their organizations in order to improve the long-term sustainability potential and nurture the conditions for profitable growth.
The CERMTM has set a new industry standard for risk professionals in Asia. It is conducted by the Asia Risk Management Institute (ARiMI), the leading Asian Research and Professional Development Institute in Enterprise Risk Management, together with the National University of Singapore (NUS). ERMTM is your passport to Enterprise Risk Management excellence!
