This course explores the nature of creativity and the creative thinking strategies to generate creative ideas and concepts. It introduces participants to the creative process and explores alternative ways of “seeing in the mind’s eyes” as creative thinking tools to improve idea and concept generation abilities. The course will equip participants with creative thinking skills to generate creative ideas and concepts through the use of appropriate thinking tools and strategies.
Course Aims
This course aims to:
| 1. | Introduce the nature of creativity and relate it to creative thinking for idea and concept generation |
| 2. | Provide an understanding for the creative process and alternative ways of visualisation to improve idea and concept generation abilities |
| 3. | Develop creative thinking skills and strategies to generate creative ideas and concepts |
