Sharpening Your People Skills with D.I.S.C.

Synopsis

According to a major study conducted by the Carnegie Foundation and Harvard and Stanford Universities, success at home, community and work depends 85% on people skills and self knowledge, and only 15% on technical knowledge.

This workshop is designed to help participants polish up their interpersonal relational skills. This set of people’s skills includes the ability to negotiate successfully, manage and resolve conflicts confidently and amicably, and communicate effectively to establish rapport and deepen bonds. All these will contribute to the building of a high performance team of unique individuals working effectively with each other.


Objectives

By the end of this workshop, you will learn to:
  • Understand what makes you tick, and what ticks you off. (D.I.S.C)
  • Sharpen your perceptions of others’ behavioural and communication style, and appreciate them as unique individuals
  • Communicate effectively with others
  • Discern how various individuals are motivated
  • Highlight strengths and contributions of individuals
  • Appreciate the differences and minimize tension in relationships
  • Build high performance teams

Methodology

This workshop is conducted through the use of experiential learning methodology during which there will be engagement of participants through a variety of individual and group activities, role play and games. Participants will also get to complete a DISC Personality Profile.
