Raising Your Emotional Intelligence in Your Workplace

Synopsis

Ever since Daniel Coleman coined the phrase "Emotional Quotient", it became a "buzz" word. EQ is more important than IQ, the traditional method for measuring our intelligence. EQ consists of both inter-personal and intra-personal intelligences. Groundbreaking research concluded that people with high EQ generally perform better in life than those with high IQ. While our IQ cannot be changed, EQ can be developed. How then can we develop our EQ? How can EQ make us better in our workplace? In this reflective workshop, you will learn to be aware of yourselves, manage your moods, empathise with others and hone your social skills. Managing your emotions can bring about increased productivity and joy in the workplace.

This 2-day self-discovery workshop will enable you to:

  • understand EQ versus IQ
  • control and manage your emotions for higher productivity
  • manage stress and re-energise yourself
