Personality Profiling and Its Applications
This is a 2-day seminar that introduces personality profiling using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) instrument, and its applications for the human resource professional. The MBTI instrument is a well- established instrument for use by individuals, groups and organisations to promote personal and professional growth and development. Its applications are diverse and broad and has been commonly used with great success in Executive Development, Leadership & Coaching, Conflict Management, Individual Counselling, Career Guidance, Staff Development, Marriage & Relationship Counselling, Leadership, Leaming Styles, Team Building, Communications, Sales & Organisational Development.
Using the MBTI instrument, the participants will score their own preferences and determine their own personality type. Having understood the various preferences, they be more confident in their communication style, appreciative of other preferences & personality types, and be able to read and interpret behaviours of others more accurately, thus building better rapport and relationships with other people.
At the end of this session, you will learn how to build on personal strengths and fortify blind spots and:
- discover areas for personal growth
- identify personal communication style
- learn how to develop better rapport & improve relationships with others
- better understand one another and resolve conflicts more effectively
- have explored further applications of the MBTI to life and work
Methodology
This seminar will provide you with hands-on experiential leaming in developing personal awareness and effectiveness. It is a down-to-earth approach to better intra-personal and inter-personal communication. It is also highly interactive and fun, yet effective.
