A global trend for business growth in our highly competitive business environment are increasingly driven by the ability to innovate and not just by making quality products more cheaply or efficiently. In another word, future success and growth will be innovation-driven and not just efficiency-driven. “Innovate or die!” – it’s a reality about organisational survival. The most successful companies of the future will be those that build and sustain vibrant innovation systems within the organisation.
Despite the importance of innovation to commercial success, few companies have mastered the ability to identify, create, and exploit opportunities for innovation on a systematic basis. Why are some organisations routinely more innovative than others? What strategies can be pursued to capture value from innovation? What capabilities must
