Professional Diploma in .Net Development
The Professional Diploma in .NET Development programme is packaged in response to industry demand for a complete programme that allow developers to show that they possesses the requisite skills to successfully implement functional specifications to build, deploy, and maintain Microsoft Windows Applications as well as Web Applications.After successfully completing 4 modular units and 1 final project, participants will be able to develop, test, deploy, and maintain department-level applications, components, Web or Desktop clients, as well as database services using Microsoft tools and technologies.
Modules under the Diploma in .NET Development Programme:
Visual Basic .NET Track:
Module 1: Introduction to Visual Basic .NET(21 Hours)
Module 2: Programming Windows Applications with Visual Basic .NET (21 Hours)
Module 3: SQL & ADO .NET Database Programming (21 Hours)
Module 4: Web Development with ASP .NET & XML Web Services (21 Hours)
Final Project - Lab (16 Hours)
Persons who have completed the 4 .NET Modules and a final project will qualify for an award of "Professional Diploma in .NET Development" by NUS Extension.
Teaching Methodology
The Diploma Programme will be conducted using a blended learning which will include pre-reading materials for participants and further reinforced through classroom instruction by our experienced consultants and trainers. Teaching will encompass lectures and lab exercises.Examination
Participants will be tested on the body knowledge taught in class and on the materials available on-line. They will have to complete a 2-Hour online test involving about 60 MCQ questions as well as submit a final project at the end of the programme.Quality of Programme
The appointed academic director, in conjunction with NUS Extension, will review all course modules and examination requirements over time so as to maintain standards for the "Diploma in .NET Development" Programme.
