Course Structure

The entire programme can be completed by attending all the 7 modules (total of 7 full days and successful completion of a mini-project (see project requirements). In order to facilitate attendance by working professionals, the 7 modules are organised as a 3 days + 4 days formal. Interval after the initial 3 days is to allow for project work.


Project Requirements

Purpose of the project assignment is to allow participants to apply the knowledge learnt to create an innovation for the benefit of their company/organization. It helps the instructor to assess the knowledge gained by the attendee and also strengthens the delivery process of this certification programme. The project assignment will involve the submission of a report for an innovation project spanning the following dimensions: 1. Creation an invention in product, service, process, strategy, market or business models. 2. Assessment of the impact of the invention 3. A Project Plan to roll out an invention Group size for the project can comprise of one, or two, or up to maximum of 3 members. (members from the same company can form a team to have a project to benefit the company, and this is encouraged) Project assessment will be a pass or fail grade. Assessment criteria will be based on the depth and coverage of the plan, as well as the size of the project team. More is expected from larger teams coming from the same organization.
