No prior knowledge of the Mandarin language

About the Programme
NUS Extension is pleased to offer prospective students a 4-week exchange study programme that allows students to learn English and understand ASEAN’s economic history, its integration and economic development.Amongst the many activities planned, students will visit Singapore’s diverse corporations. This is to maximise exposure to students of the greater NUS Campus Experience. These will be some of the highlights of the NUS Extension English Immersion Programme.
Learning Objectives
- To improve student’s competency, be able to converse in English, read and understand English as used in current business settings.
- To recognize pronunciation and conversational structures, develop acceptable pronunciation, master oral communication skills and increase clarity and precision in their speech.
- To have greater insight of ASEAN’s economic history, its integration and rapid economic development over the past 10 years.

- Company visits
- NUS Campus Experience
There will also be plenty of opportunities during the weekends for you to explore Singapore and travel to its neighbouring countries and scenic islands. Some afternoons are reserved for self-revision and recreational activities.
