“Cheap but Good” Marketing for Your Products, Services (and Company)

Synopsis

In a contracting world economy, companies must market their products and services more effectively. However, marketing (advertising, promotion, etc.) can require lots of precious capital. In this course we will look at how to market at little or no cost using both traditional techniques and a whole range of new technologies.


Course Outline

A useful structure for marketing. Being careful about "money holes" in marketing. What is "CE marketing" and how can it save you money while increasing sales? Eyeballs, hearts and minds - reaching your potential customers. How do I know its working? - Calculating a simple ROM (Returun on Marketing).

The single most cost-effective way for most companies to make money through promotions (it may surprise you). Webpages: Getting found, making sales. Email, fax and SMS -how, when and why to use them for marketing. Some new marketing tools for the 21st century and how/when to use them.
