Celebrate Family... Friends... and Life.
The Mid-autumn festival, also called the Mooncake Festival, is a tradition among Chinese where families get together during the time of the year when the moon is brightest and fullest, symbolizing unending family unity. On 25th of September, NERI colleagues, friends, collaborators, faculties, and students gathered to enjoy a fun and memorable mid-autumn celebration, coming together as one big family.
Colourful lanterns were put up, sumptuous mooncakes and food, as well as lively music and games were prepared to spice up the celebration.Around a hundred people participated in the very engaging event, bringing together NERI people from different cultures for the big celebration.
Initiated by the NERI Administrative and Research Staff, the activity was intended to foster closer ties and camaraderie among the people in the Institute. It was a timely break to relax amidst everyone's busy work schedule.
