NUS-Related Ventures

Introduction

Many ventures in Singapore and beyond had their original roots in NUS. NUS professors, research staff, students and alumni had founded many companies over the years. Unfortunately, little systematic data are available on the extent and impact of such entrepreneurial activities of the NUS community.

In this on-going project, NUS Entrepreneurship Centre is constructing a directory of all known ventures where one or more of the founders had been a past or present professor, researcher, professional, admin staff, or student of NUS. Also included are new ventures that were created as a result of significant support/assistance by NUS Enterprise, such as the Start-Up@Singapore Business Plan Competition and NUS Business Incubator.

We would like to encourage all members of the NUS Community who had started their own business ventures to submit a 1-2 paragraph write-up of their ventures to us at contactnec@nus.edu.sg.

Please include the following details:

Details of NUS-related founder(s), brief descriptions of the business venture, investor/customer profiles, performance to-date, and website address of the company and other contact details.
If you know of an NUS-related venture not listed here, we would be grateful if you can alert us and provide us with whatever information leads.
