3. IPTV Asia 2006

IPTV ASIA 2006
8-9 November 2006, Singapore
www.informatm.com/iptv-asia

“By 2011, the Asia/Pacific market is expected to reach 39 million IPTV subscribers.
Total IPTV revenue in the region will reach US$8.1 billion by 2011.”
~ In-Stat, March 2006

The Asia Pacific region is leading the global revolution of IPTV in infrastructure deployments, applications development, and subscriber adoption, according to In-Stat. With the region's broadband penetration and regulatory support, they help to foster the fastest-growing IPTV market in the world. Hence, IPTV can represent a golden opportunity for telecommunication carriers looking to tap into new revenue streams beyond data and voice services. However, the business case remains challenging, especially given the significant investment costs to launch and scale IPTV. The biggest question however is: are consumers ready for IPTV?

If you want to capitalize on the growth opportunities available for IPTV in the Asia Pacific region, you must attend Informa’s IPTV Asia taking place in Singapore from 8-9 November 2006. This event will address the business opportunities, technical and market challenges facing the adoption of this technology in Asia with this year’s theme on “How to exploit the revenue opportunities of IPTV to Maximise Growth”.
