System Access is one of
the inspiring local success stories. It has
grown from a startup in 1983 with $5,000 seed
money to become one of the top 10 banking software
product companies in the world. The company
has achieved rapid and profitable growth over
the years and successfully raised $70m from
a US-based global private equity firm. Among
its international business achievements is a
$100m contract with an Austrian bank. The success
of System Access holds valuable lessons for
local technology start-ups aspiring to achieve
scalable growth and to compete successfully
on an international scale. In this forum, the
founder of System Access will share with the
audience his personal insights on the importance
of staying focused on one industry and one product,
how to compete on an international scale as
a smaller player, how to leverage on alliances
and target the right customers, how to assemble
appropriate talents, and the kind of world class
processes that a company must develop in order
to support scalable growth.
