Abstract

Thought of ideas but don't know how to bring it beyond just talk? Always wanted to be your own boss but haven't a clue as to how to cash out on those brimming ideas? In this session of Techno-Venture Forum, Mr Kamran Elahian, a veteran entrepreneur will share his experience on how to transform your ideas into a successful business venture. He will touch on entrepreneurship in the global context and the nuts & bolts of setting up a successful business.

About the Speaker

Mr Elahian has over 23 years of experience in the high-technology industry and co-founded a number of companies which includes, CAE Systems, Inc., Cirrus Logic, Inc., Momenta Corporation, NeoMagic Corporation, Planetweb, Inc., and Centillium technology Corporation. He has also founded Schools On-line, a non-profit charity organisation with the goal to bring the internet to every school in the world. Mr Elahian is also a General Partner of the Global Catalyst Partners fund, a VC based in Silicon Valley. Mr Elahian is also one of the five International Advisors which provide advise to DPM Dr. Tony Tan under the Technopreneurship 21 initiative.
