About Education
The NUS Entrepreneurship Centre (NEC) is an academic teaching unit within NUS dedicated to nurture the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation among the NUS community through Technopreneurship-related Academic Programmes. These programmes include:
- New Venture Creation Workshops for Scientists, Engineers and Technical Managers (in collaboration with external organizations such as Institute of Engineers Singapore (IES) and Singapore Technologies Group)
- Executive Education Programmes for High Tech Managers, Entrepreneurs and Policy Makers.
To support our educational mission, we engage substantially in Technopreneurship Educational Resource Development, including:
- Collaboration with Stanford Technology Ventures Program (STVP) in teaching case writing and online resources development
- Joint organization of the Roundtable on Entrepreneurship Education (REE) Asia with STVP and U.C Berkeley
- Development of a comprehensive Video-On-Demand (VOD) archive of presentations by Prominent Entrepreneurs and VCs
- Maintenace of an Online Guide to Resources for Entrepreneurs
