>> Summer Intensive Technopreneurship Course ended in August 2003
The summer-intensive Technopreneurship course for graduate students, offered by NUS Entrepreneurship Centre, was held over a period of 8 weeks.  The class comprised of 25 Norwegian students from the Norwegian School of Entrepreneurship (NSE) as well as 32 students from the National University of Singapore (NUS). Among the NUS students, there were students from China, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Singapore, making this a truly international class. Students taking the course formed into teams, created viable and scalable business ideas and developed them into business plans.

The course-work was a time-compressed version of the NUS Entrepreneurship Centre's regular graduate elective Technopreneurship course. At course-end, the students presented their business plans to a panel, which included both NUS staff and outside investors. In addition to writing business plans, the Norwegian students worked in full-time internships at local start-up companies, and wrote a business case on the company. Despite the tight deadlines and heavy workload, all rose to the occasion and performed admirably in the true spirit of entrepreneurship.
