The inaugural Asia Pacific Rim University (APRU) Enterprise Business Plan Competition - Extra Chapter Challenge (ECC) is an initiative spearheaded by members from the APRU Enterprise Coordinating Group (AECG) and the APRU Doctoral Students Network (DSN). As part of the APRU Doctoral Students Conference, the business plan competition aims to encourage doctoral students to write an extra chapter in their dissertations on how their research output can be commercialized to create economic and social value beyond their dissertation. With the support of their university, it will serve to enhance the educational experience of doctoral students from APRU universities and create higher visibility of APRU as an enterprising educational consortium. To be held on 17 - 21 Jul, the Extra Chapter Challenge will feature 13 teams from various APRU member universities including:- § National University of Singapore § Fudan University § University of British Columbia § University of Indonesia § University of Oregon § University of Sydney § University of the Philippines § University of Tokyo |
