APPLICATION FOR AY2009/2010

NOTE: Application for admission to the Bachelor of Music (Hons) Degree and Graduate Diploma in Music Performance at the Conservatory for Academic Year 2010/2011 will be open from 1 October 2009 to 6 March 2010.

STEP 1: ONLINE APPLICATION
Submit your application online here.

STEP 2: PREPARE FOR AUDITION
Select and confirm your audition pieces. Foreign students must be prepared to speak in English at the audition.

STEP 3: SUBMIT DOCUMENTS
Mail us the documents:

1. Two passport-sized photographs


2. Most recent academic transcripts (only certified true copies are acceptable)


3. If you are auditioning with a DVD, you are required to submit a separate DVD recording in English about why you feel that this school is appropriate for the next stage of your musical development


4. At least 2 Recommendation Letters (from teachers or people who are in the position to comment on your musical abilities)


5. All other certificates or awards

STEP 4: AUDITION AND INTERVIEW
Once we have received your application, we will inform you if you have been shortlisted for our audition. If you are unable to attend the LIVE audition upon our invitation, you are required to send a DVD recording of your latest performance.

The Conservatory strongly encourages all candidates to attend the LIVE audition and reserves the right to reject DVD auditions if the candidates are in a suitable position to travel easily to the regional audition centres.
