Young Song, combining exquisite musical sensibility and superb technique, is arguably the most sought after cellist in his native Korea. As a soloist, he has performed to critical acclaim in concerts with orchestras and in solo recitals; toured extensively as a chamber musician; and has been a much appreciated member of renowned orchestras as guest principal. He performs a lunchtime recital at the Conservatory and conducts a masterclass with Conservatory students.
