Pierre Amoyal is well known to music lovers. He has played with the greatest conductors and orchestras in the most prestigious concert halls of the world. He studied with the legendary Jascha Heifetz and was the youngest musician ever to be nominated as a professor at the Paris Conservatory. Pierre Amoyal plays one of the world's most celebrated violins, the Kochansky Stradivarius from 1717 which was miraculously recovered in Italy in 1991 after its theft in 1987.
This event is supported by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Canton Vaud, Switzerland and swissnex Singapore, a platform of the Embassy of Switzerland in Singapore, in collaboration with the Singapore Sun Festival.
