Acclaimed Russian pianist, Professor of St. Petersburg Conservatory Pavel Egorov conducts a masterclass with Conservatory students. Pavel Egorov launched his career by winning Gold Medal and the Grand Prize at the International Schumann Competition in Zwickau in 1974. He is an Honorary Member of the International Schumann Society, Dusseldorf, Germany and was awarded the International Schumann Prize in 1988. He received the highest artistic recognition in Russia, a "National Artist of Russian Federation" title. He has toured in the United States, Canada, China, Taiwan, Japan, Republic of Korea, and most of Europe. During his career he has performed in more than 3000 solo, symphonic and chamber concerts and recorded over 40 Cds.
