Li-Chin Lai started her piano lessons at a very early age and continued her professional training in the United States, where she received her Master's and Doctoral degrees in piano performance from Boston University and Temple University, respectively. During those years, she studied with Harvey Wedeen, Maria Clodes, and Jacob Lateiner. Ms Lai is currently professor in the piano department at the National Taiwan Normal University where she has taught since 1992.
