José-Daniel Castellon, Flute Professor at the Lausanne Conservatory gives a recital and masterclass at the Conservatory. After a brilliant orchestra career as principal flute at the National Opera Orchestra of Lyon in France from 1989-1990 and at the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra in Switzerland from 1990-2004, José-Daniel Castellon now performs as a soloist and recording artist. Besides masterclasses throughout Europe as well as in Brazil, Korea, Syria and China, he is regularly invited to teach at many prestigious festivals such as the Tibor Varga Festival, the Academy at les Arcs and at the Palma Music Festival.
