In the Renaissance and the Baroque some of the most significant brass-playing virtuosi of all time encouraged great composers such as J.S Bach, George Frederich Handel and Giovanni Gabrieli to write some of the most profound compositions for brass ever written. This all-brass chamber concert will feature outstanding compositions by great renaissance and baroque era composers, and will include a number of brass quintet performances, the Conservatory Trombone Choir, and a special appearance from B5 Brass, the Conservatory's resident fellowship brass ensemble.
