People in motion is a collection of black and white images of everyday people captured in street scenes from Asia, Europe, North and South America...

“i shoot strangers … moving through their busy days... i hope to capture something of their being ... usually they are in a hurry... much too busy to notice the camera...”

Wojtek Chodzko-Zajko lives in Urbana, Illinois where he is professor of Kinesiology at the University of Illinois. For the past 20 years, Chodzko-Zajko has studied movement and its impact on health and quality of life. For many years he has combined his academic work with his passion for photography. In his work, he tries to capture the movement that he studies in the laboratory in a more naturalistic setting through candid street photography. He has been invited to display his photographs in galleries in Europe and North America.
