Contemporary Art is gaining popularity with astute collectors and a new generation of art lovers. With the recent auction records of Asian art stars particularly from China and India, the attention to this new asset class is even more pronounced.

What is Contemporary Art? Is this a new art movement or just a fad? When and where did it start?

This talk introduces Contemporary Art and how the works of some artists influence the art world through the use of new media, ideas and techniques.
